Inspector (Civil Engineering)

Salary: $70,015 – $100,500 annually

What you will do

• Complete and report on-site inspections throughout construction progress on multiple projects
• Prepare and update as-constructed field record drawings
• Notify Project Manager of potential problems and liaise with municipal inspectors and agencies
• Coordinate with contractors and assist with construction administration
• Contribute to design by preparing construction details, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates
• Abide by company procedures and safety program

Requirements

• 2-4+ years experience in civil engineering inspection
• Degree or Diploma in Construction Inspection, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Comfort working in construction settings
• Valid Driver’s License and personal vehicle for site travel
• Familiarity with tendering process, construction contracts, and MMCD
• Strong organization, time management, and communication skills for handling multiple projects
