Salary: $38.00 - $46.00 hourly

What you will do

• Mainly work on projects around the Lower Mainland with occasional out-of-town assignments
• Operate and maintain survey vehicles, tools, and equipment including GPS, total stations, and data collectors
• Conduct field surveys in all weather conditions and transfer data to office network
• Assist in reviewing survey data and ensure projects are delivered within budgets and timelines
• Develop client relationships, train, and mentor Survey Assistants
• Assign tasks collaboratively to Survey Assistants for efficiency and accuracy

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Geomatics Engineering Technology or related field
• Minimum 6 years of experience as Surveyor or equivalent
• Eligible for registration as ASct or C.Tech. with ASTTBC, or SS/LST with ABCLS
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong knowledge of field survey techniques and calculations
• Physically fit, able to work outdoors for extended periods in varied conditions
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
