What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Lead system design for platforms, focusing on service decomposition, data modeling, and reliability.
• Own complex backend domains from architecture through implementation and maintenance.
• Drive technical standards for coding practices, observability, and performance.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable capabilities.
• Mentor engineers via code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with a strong backend focus.
• Deep expertise in TypeScript and production backend services.
• Strong system design skills for large-scale or business-critical systems.
• Must reside in the United States.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the US (no H1B sponsorship available).
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the fertility industry or healthtech experience.
