TL;DR
Product Engineer, Mobile (React Native/Fintech): Building and optimizing the mobile experience for an all-in-one personal finance platform with an accent on core product features like budgeting, goals, and assistants. Focus on architecting new features, establishing mobile engineering best practices, and ensuring system reliability for a million users.
Location: Remote (Global). Applicants from almost anywhere are welcome. Synchronous collaboration mostly from 9 AM – 2 PM PT.

What you will do
- Partner with Product and Design to build and improve core mobile features (Budgeting, Goals, Assistant) for iOS and Android.
- Establish mobile engineering best practices, code quality standards, and development processes to enable rapid iteration.
- Mentor engineering peers and provide technical guidance.
- Help shape the long-term mobile technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- 4+ years of mobile development experience.
- 2+ years of experience using React Native and TypeScript.
- Working knowledge of native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin).
- Product-centric mindset with a strong ownership mentality from spec to production.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experience building fintech or consumer financial products.
- Full-stack web engineering experience with React and Python.
- Background in performance optimization and mobile app analytics.
- Previous experience at a high-growth startup (Series A-C).
