Senior iOS Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Open to US-based Remote). This role supports US-based remote work, or Palo Alto, CA based hybrid in-office.

Salary: $180,000 - $220,000 plus equity and a discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Build and maintain a premier native iOS application with automated tests and integration to design systems and backend APIs.
• Take ownership of large, complex projects from ideation through execution and delivery.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to shape the roadmap and deliver seamless user experiences.
• Design, build, and test reusable REST APIs with frontend and backend engineers.
• Design high-quality infrastructure with tradeoffs for risk and maintainability.
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and triage production issues as part of on-call rotation.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of professional iOS development experience
• Deep expertise with Swift and iOS frameworks (Objective-C a plus)
• Experience creating complex, performant UIs with UIKit and/or SwiftUI
• Experience writing unit tests and testable code
• Track record of high-quality, testable, maintainable code
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
• BS or MS in computer science or equivalent
