TL;DR
iOS Engineer (Mid-level) (Fintech): Contribute to developing and maintaining the iOS app providing access to investment opportunities across UK, US, and EU markets with an accent on high performance, scalability, and user experience. Focus on implementing new SwiftUI features, handling reactive data flows, collaborating on cross-functional feature delivery, and ensuring application robustness through testing and reviews.
Hybrid: 3 days in office (London or Budapest), 2 days remote (Wednesday, Friday). Office days: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday.
Gross Base Salary £52K – £75K

What you will do
- Develop new features and maintain existing ones in the iOS app, ensuring high performance, quality, security, and responsiveness.
- Collaborate with backend, design, product, and QA teams to define, design, and ship features.
- Write tests, participate in code reviews, identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and maintain code quality and releases.
- Participate in support rota to handle customer queries and feedback for high satisfaction.
- Guide priorities on platform issues, technical debt, patterns, and architecture for quality app and developer experience.
Requirements
- Typically 3-5 years experience developing production-grade mobile applications.
- Strong problem-solving ability and passion for skill improvement.
- Good understanding of mobile architectural patterns like MVVM, MVP, or VIPER.
- Experience with Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode, reactive libraries (Combine or RxSwift), Human Interface Guidelines.
- Working knowledge of Git and CI tools like CircleCI.
