Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift

Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift (Defense-Aerospace): Interprets basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts tools, equipment and systems with an accent on fabrication and process improvement. Focus on conducting statistically based experiments, implementing complex solutions, designing basic tooling and fixtures, and analyzing data to identify cause/effect relationships.

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (onsite, 2nd shift)

Hourly Rate: up to $33/hr (W2, non-benefited)

What you will do

• Interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
• Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test and adjust tools, equipment and systems
• Conduct, analyze and document statistically based experiments to define process parameters
• Implement and document complex solutions for process improvement
• Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures for unique tasks
• Organize, analyze and interpret data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolutions

Requirements

• Solid knowledge and proficiency in fabrication tools
• Ability to fabricate complex hardware
• Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory
• Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus minimum 3 years of relevant experience
• U.S. citizenship required due to nature of work
