Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift (Cleared): Interprets engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics, constructs, modifies, debugs, troubleshoots, calibrates, tests and adjusts tools, equipment and systems with an accent on fabrication, statistical experiments and process improvement. Focus on designing and constructing tooling/fixtures, analyzing data for cause/effect relationships and implementing complex solutions.

Location: Onsite in Scottsdale, AZ. Department of Defense SECRET security clearance required at time of hire.

Hourly Rate: up to $33/hr (W2, non-benefited)

What you will do

• Interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams and schematics
• Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test and adjust tools, equipment and systems
• Conduct, analyze and document statistically based experiments to define process parameters
• Implement and document complex solutions for process improvement
• Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures for unique tasks
• Organize, analyze and interpret data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolutions

Requirements

• Solid knowledge and proficiency in fabrication tools
• Ability to fabricate complex hardware
• Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory
• Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent plus minimum 3 years relevant experience
• Department of Defense SECRET security clearance required at time of hire
