What you will do

• Manage all aspects of event production, including pre-production logistics, hiring, onsite execution, and post-event reporting.
• Scale hirify.global Original SSI events by managing a high volume of simultaneous productions against team targets.
• Develop and optimize production budgets to achieve strategic goals and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Lead and mentor a team of local Associate and Junior producers, providing training and performance reviews.
• Source and manage freelancers and vendors, negotiating contracts for venues and talent.
• Secure event permits, manage insurance requirements, and conduct risk assessments according to regional regulations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in the live event or experience production industry.
• Proven track record of managing 3-10 direct reports in a previous role.
• Experience as a Producer or Senior Project Manager for theatre, dance, or similar immersive entertainment projects.
• Expertise in vendor negotiations, budget management, and regional permitting/Health & Safety regulations.
• Knowledge of fabrication and design processes for show elements like costume, scenography, lighting, and sound.
• Must be based in Chicago.
