Pay Rate: up to $67/hr (W2, non-benefited)

What you will do

• Assess problems quickly, identify required information and resources, prioritize urgency, and create troubleshooting plans for resolution.
• Communicate plans and updates to cross-functional teams with diverse backgrounds.
• Resolve production and supplier issues, maintain technical data packages, create change documentation, and present in review boards.
• Participate in peer reviews of engineering and operations work.
• Troubleshoot failures using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and related tools.
• Analyze defect and yield data to implement process improvements reducing recurring failures.

Requirements

• Department of Defense Secret security clearance required at time of hire
• Digital, analog, RF, and/or mixed-signal testing and debugging of complex circuit card assemblies and electro-mechanical systems
• Experience in root-cause corrective action investigations
• Proven manufacturing/test support experience for electronic assemblies
• Proficiency with lab equipment: oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, function generators, power supplies, etc.
• Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and BoMs
• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 2 years of relevant experience

Nice to have

• Prior production support engineering experience
• Electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic subsystems
• Experience with tools like Mentor Graphics, PSPICE, MATLAB, HFSS, ADS, etc.
• Subsystems integration, test, statistical process control, technical writing, and engineering change notices
• Self-starter capable of independent work and small team collaboration
