Sr. Director, Product Security & Engineering (Fintech)

Sr. Director, Product Security & Engineering (Fintech): Lead product security, PSIRT, and integrity capabilities across cloud-native AI-enabled digital banking platform with an accent on embedding security-by-design, DevSecOps, and defense against emerging threats. Focus on threat modeling for AI systems, incident response, vulnerability management, and cross-functional security governance.

What you will do

• Define security requirements and champion security-by-design in product architecture, coding practices, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Lead PSIRT: vulnerability triage, remediation, disclosure, and post-incident analysis.
• Drive product integrity through threat modeling, abuse prevention, and secure architecture reviews.
• Oversee AI security: model development, prompt injection defenses, red-teaming, and regulatory alignment.
• Provide technical leadership for app sec, SOC, red/blue/purple teams, pentesting, and security automation.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Fraud, Legal, and others on security initiatives.

Requirements

• Fluent written and oral English communication.
• U.S. work authorization required (no sponsorship).
• Bachelor’s in Cyber Security/Computer Science + 15 years experience (or advanced degree +12 years).
• 7+ years managing/developing employees.
• Experience scaling engineering teams in high-availability, regulated environments (fintech preferred).
• Strong cross-functional leadership and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Regulated industry experience and regulatory familiarity.
• CISSP, CISM, or cloud security certifications.
