What you will do

• Serve as technical lead for SOC security architecture across Client and Data Center platforms, including Boot ROMs, secure boot flows, and hardware-firmware-OS chains of trust.
• Lead security discovery using AI-based tools to identify firmware vulnerabilities, insecure patterns, and cross-layer attack paths at scale.
• Apply AI-assisted code reasoning to analyze large codebases, explore edge cases, and assess security impacts of design choices.
• Drive firmware-focused threat modeling enhanced by AI for broader coverage and emergent risk identification.
• Define firmware security architecture specifications based on AI-driven insights and partner with SoC architects, designers, firmware, and OS teams for mitigations.
• Shape security roadmaps, mentor engineers, and establish best practices for AI-enabled security analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in Client/Data Center platform or firmware security architecture.
• 2+ years hands-on with AI-based tools for code generation, security discovery, static/semantic analysis, and vulnerability identification.
• 5+ years system-level programming (C/C++, Rust) and security automation/validation (Python).

Nice to have

• Experience defining SoC/IP/platform architecture specifications for multiple teams/products.
• Track record discovering/preventing critical firmware/platform security issues.
• Scaling AI-driven security discovery across large codebases.
• Familiarity with Client/Data Center security technologies like confidential computing and virtualization security.
• Recognized technical leadership in large organizations or industry.
