Engineering Technician - 1st Shift

TL;DR

Engineering Technician (1st Shift): Support engineering activities such as design, test, fabrication, and assembly of prototype electro-mechanical systems, experimental circuitry, laser/light transmission devices, and specialized test equipment with an accent on interpreting drawings, troubleshooting, and process improvement. Focus on conducting statistically based experiments, designing tooling/fixtures, and implementing complex solutions for unique tasks.

Location: Scottsdale, AZ (onsite, U.S. citizenship required due to clearance)

Hourly Rate: up to $33/hr (W2, non-benefited)

What you will do

• Interpret basic engineering drawings, diagrams, and schematics
• Construct, modify, debug, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and adjust tools, equipment, and systems
• Conduct, analyze, and document statistically based experiments to define process parameters
• Implement and document complex solutions for process improvement
• Design and construct basic tooling and fixtures for unique tasks
• Organize, analyze, and interpret data to identify cause/effect relationships and recommend resolutions

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship required
• Solid knowledge and proficiency in the use of fabrication tools
• Ability to fabricate complex hardware
• Solid knowledge of generally accepted technical theory
• Associate's degree in related discipline or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
