TL;DR

Project Manager (Fintech): Leading complex financial institution transformation initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and platform migrations with an accent on cross-functional project plans and risk mitigation. Focus on managing critical conversion events, coordinating internal and external stakeholders, and optimizing operational processes through data analysis.

Location: Based in hirify.global offices (Austin, Lincoln, Charlotte, or Cary) with hybrid opportunities. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

What you will do

  • Lead complex financial institution transformations, including mergers, acquisitions, and platform migrations.
  • Own and drive cross-functional project plans, managing key milestones and mitigating risks.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and design P&L/resource allocation models.
  • Evaluate and implement process improvement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Coordinate major technological and operational transitions, generating program health dashboards.
  • Interface with high-profile clients to resolve technical and operational challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related experience (or advanced degree and 3+ years).
  • Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. (no sponsorship available).
  • Fluent written and oral English communication.
  • Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Lucid charts.
  • Experience with Jira, Salesforce, Qualtrics, and PowerBI.
  • Exposure to Project Management methodologies (PMP or PMI preferred).

Nice to have

  • Financial Services and enterprise software experience.
  • Prior experience with SharePoint.
