TL;DR

Senior Product Designer (Growth & Transformation): Developing core consumer-facing products for financial institution partnerships with an accent on UX/UI design, creative problem-solving, and team management. Focus on optimizing design systems, conducting UX research, balancing user needs with business goals, and iterating prototypes based on data insights.

Location: Hybrid schedule based in South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Tuesday through Thursday); fully remote Mondays and Fridays. Also available in New York, NY.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 total cash compensation per year (NYC: $125,000–$175,000).

What you will do

  • Deliver polished visual designs and extend existing design systems.
  • Drive creative solutions autonomously and provide mentorship to junior designers.
  • Develop expertise in user problems, business goals, and competitive gaps.
  • Partner with product managers and engineers from concept to launch.
  • Implement high-performing UX copy and utilize research insights for iteration.
  • Build and validate prototypes, iterating based on data and feedback.

Requirements

  • 4+ years designing consumer-focused tech across web, mobile, apps.
  • Strong portfolio in visual design, interaction design, typography, usability, and creative strategy.
  • Fluent in Figma, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Strong communicator comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Eagerness to learn and implement AI technologies in design operations.
  • Understanding of financial industry intricacies and UX research practices.

  • Experience leading people and teams.
  • Animation and branding experience.
  • Usability testing platforms like Userlytics.
