What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain AI infrastructure, frameworks, and shared services for product teams
• Develop APIs, SDKs, and integration patterns to embed AI capabilities into products
• Build evaluation frameworks, benchmarks, and quality metrics for AI features
• Work across backend (Node/Go) and frontend (Vue 3), focusing on backend, data pipelines, and AI layers
• Collaborate with product teams, integrate LLM providers, and bring AI features to production
• Instrument AI for performance, iterate based on feedback, and contribute to engineering culture

Requirements

• Strong experience building and shipping production AI-powered product features with customer feedback
• Backend expertise in Node, Go, Python, or similar for scalable APIs and services
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings in product context
• Experience designing and running AI evaluations for quality and reliability
• Solid cloud infrastructure experience on AWS or similar (containers, databases, queues)
• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Vue or React
• Active use of AI tools in development workflow
• Experience in cross-functional platform teams building tools for others

Nice to have

• End-to-end AI feature experience from design to iteration
• Building shared AI platforms or internal tooling
• AI evaluation and observability practices (evals, A/B testing, drift monitoring)
• Experience with AWS EKS, RDS/MariaDB, DocumentDB, OpenSearch, RabbitMQ
• Go and Vue 3 specifically
