Principal Systems Engineer (MBSE): Provide enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community using Model-Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering practices to define system architectures, manage interfaces, and ensure requirements traceability. Focus on developing and maintaining system models with Cameo Systems Modeler, utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize complex system performance.

Location: Aurora, CO 80011 (onsite, US Citizenship REQUIRED, Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph required prior to start, no relocation package)

Salary: $65/hr - $85/hr W2 (depends on experience and benefits)

What you will do

• Apply MBSE principles to define system architectures and manage interfaces.
• Develop and maintain system models using Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent tools.
• Utilize simulations to analyze and optimize performance of complex systems.
• Ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Government, Military, SETA, and Contractors.

Requirements

• Active and transferable TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; US Citizenship required prior to start date
• Bachelor's degree in STEM and minimum 8+ years of engineering experience
• Practical experience with MBSE principles and system modeling (Cameo or equivalent)
• Familiarity with Digital Engineering practices and tool chains
• Experience with high-level programming languages (e.g., Python)
• Demonstrated engineering technical abilities, project management, and team collaboration

Nice to have

• Experience with systems installation, integration, and test activities
• Proficiency in Python, C++, etc.
• Experience with RFC impact reviews and NSIS requirements
• Strong customer relationships and stakeholder engagement
• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and collaborative tools
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
