What you will do

• Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks across the software development life cycle.
• Iterate on software requirements with business stakeholders.
• Develop clean, efficient code for tools and applications, automating tasks via scripting.
• Analyze, debug systems, and perform test-driven validation and verification.
• Review code collaboratively and collaborate with teams and vendors to improve products.
• Work with distributed systems like Apache Hudi and Trino for big data processing.

Requirements

• Experience with distributed computing tools like Apache Hudi, Spark, Kafka, Flink, Beam, Trino, DataBricks.
• Experience with distributed storage systems like ADLS, HDFS, S3.
• Familiarity with Hadoop, Spark, Databricks; understanding of data partitioning and sharding.
• Experience writing scalable clean code in Java, Python; knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL).
• Solid RESTful API development, TDD proficiency, GIT, monitoring tools (New Relic, DataDog).
• BSc/BA in Computer Science or related; strong organization, problem-solving, and self-starter skills.

Nice to have

• Python scripting, Spring Boot, React, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Ansible, Jenkins CI/CD.
• Linux, IP networking, AWS/Azure, SAML/OAuth, SaaS experience, SOA.
• On-call experience, mentoring, Generative AI Code Assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot).
