What you will do

• Design, implement, and take ownership of mission-critical data pipelines and data products.
• Collaborate with platform, product, and other stakeholders to deliver tools ensuring ease of system use.
• Write high-quality code, refactoring and optimizing for better scalability, performance, and readability.
• Integrate new frameworks, libraries, and technologies into the codebase.
• Proactively monitor metrics, alert on issues, and ensure the maintainability of existing applications.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead the design of new features.

Requirements

• BS+ degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience building and maintaining data-intensive applications.
• Experience developing complex software systems scaling to millions of users.
• Proficiency with modern data technologies: Spark, Flink, Kafka, and Airflow.
• Strong background in Java or Python.

Nice to have

• Experience working with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with Databricks.
