TL;DR
Cyber Infrastructure Expert Support Engineer (AMER): Troubleshoot and resolve advanced technical incidents in hyper-converged storage and compute clusters with an accent on Linux administration, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies. Focus on interacting with engineering and business teams to solve complex customer issues, mentoring juniors, and developing technical documentation.

What you will do
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents for customers and partners
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and partners
- Interact with Engineering, QA, Data Center Operations, Professional Services, and Product Management to resolve complex issues
- Train and mentor junior team members on technical expertise and communication
- Develop documentation, knowledge base, and technical articles on products
- Serve as expert in cloud and hybrid datacenter solutions including storage, compute clusters, disaster recovery, and failover operations
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as infrastructure support engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux administration and troubleshooting across distributions; RHCSA or equivalent
- Networking: traffic inspection, routing, bandwidth analysis; DHCP, DNS, L2TP/IPSec, OpenVPN, high-availability configs
- Private cloud/virtualization: VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V, KVM, Virtuozzo
- Fluent English (written and verbal)
- Strong communication skills, customer-focused mindset, ability to resolve complex issues
