What you will do

• Lead design and implementation of scalable Java microservices-based distributed systems
• Engineer and optimize data pipelines with Apache Hudi, Apache Trino, Azure ADLS
• Collaborate with product, analytics, and AI teams to make data a strategic asset
• Advance event-driven architectures and cloud-native technologies adoption
• Drive data governance, observability, performance tuning, and quality embedding in pipelines
• Foster quality culture through peer reviews and knowledge sharing

Requirements

• 10+ years in software/data engineering, including 4+ years on data pipelines (batch/streaming)
• Experience driving technical direction, mentoring, and hands-on delivery of high-scale solutions
• Strong event-driven architectures, distributed systems, resilient low-latency pipelines
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerized data workloads
• Data quality practices, CI/CD, schema management, testing (dbt, Great Expectations)
• Observability (metrics, logging, tracing, alerting), data governance, performance optimization
• Lakehouse tech: Apache Hudi, Azure ADLS Gen2, HDFS, Trino, Databricks, Spark
• Strong collaboration and communication to influence stakeholders
