Financial Analyst

Location: Remote in Europe, including Russia; overlap with Asian afternoon and European business hours, ideally between GMT+8 and GMT+1.

What you will do

• Oversee accounting allocations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash disbursements, and bank reconciliations.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, organized accounting records, and financial procedures.
• Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actuals, and financial forecasts.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes and provide in-depth financial analysis to executive management.
• Coordinate with external tax accountants and auditors, review invoices and receivables, and manage invoice collections.
• Maintain banking relationships, negotiate vendor and financial agreements, and arrange new accounts, cards, and financial instruments.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of combined bookkeeping and finance experience, including proven experience as a financial analyst.
• Experience with complex transactions between companies located across multiple countries or continents.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, general ledger functions, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software, including administration skills.
• Fluent English required.
• Remote work from Europe, including Russia, with required overlap between GMT+8 and GMT+1.

Nice to have

• Experience in a client-facing finance role.
• One to three years of remote finance work experience.
• Knowledge of crypto.
