Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Financial Analyst (Finance): Undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, and internal control policies with an accent on financial planning, analysis, and banking relations. Focus on overseeing accounting functions, preparing financial statements and projections, conducting in-depth analysis, and informing executive decisions.

Location: Remote in Europe (incl. Russia). Ideally located between GMT+8 and GMT+1. Overlap with Asian afternoon and European business hours required.

What you will do

• Oversee all accounting allocations, cash management, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
• Establish and execute internal controls over accounting and financial procedures.
• Prepare timely financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, and projections.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis and provide expert opinions to executive management.
• Maintain and develop banking relationships, negotiate vendor agreements, and apply for financial instruments.
• Coordinate with tax accountants and auditors for compliance and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven 3+ years experience as Financial Analyst with combined bookkeeping and finance background
• Experience with complex international transactions across countries/continents
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close
• Excellent skills in accounting software like Xero or QuickBooks
• Fluent English
• Client-facing finance experience
