What you will do

• Develop principled probabilistic generative models for complex networks.
• Perform inference tasks to identify hidden patterns, such as community structures and hidden hierarchies.
• Analyze real network data from various application domains to validate theoretical models.
• Design and implement computationally efficient algorithms capable of scaling to large dataset sizes.
• Collaborate within the Network Architecture and Services Group in a diverse, inter-disciplinary environment.
• Complete a doctoral program through the hirify.global Graduate School to grow as a researcher.

Requirements

• MSc in Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related disciplines.
• Strong background in mathematical modeling, algorithms, and probabilistic modeling.
• Proficiency in programming with Python, C, or C++.
• English: Very good written and good oral skills are required.
• Ability to thrive in an international and inter-disciplinary research group.
