Environment & Forest Conservation Intern (Sustainability): Supporting deforestation remediation and forest conservation initiatives within the cocoa supply chain with an accent on environmental science and impact reporting. Focus on developing remediation plans, monitoring sustainable farming practices, and coordinating the annual impact report.

Location: Hybrid (Amsterdam, Netherlands). Must be living in the Netherlands and enrolled in a school/study for the duration of the internship

Salary: €550 per month

What you will do

• Support the rollout of deforestation remediation plans using sector benchmarks and best practices.
• Contribute to forest conservation initiatives by mapping partners and supporting project design.
• Integrate environmental preservation into cocoa farming through research, data analysis, and project management.
• Develop internal and external communications, including policies and publications on sustainable cocoa production.
• Coordinate the 2025/26 Tony’s Open Chain Impact Report, managing data collection and stakeholder reviews.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Forestry, Sustainability, Conservation, or a related field.
• Must be based in the Netherlands and enrolled in an educational institution for the duration of the internship.
• Strong alignment with the company mission to end exploitation in the cocoa industry.
