What you will do

• Lead technical efforts for large-scale systems and propose novel solutions to real-world business challenges.
• Prototype, develop, and debug new features across both legacy and novel codebases.
• Propose technical designs considering standard patterns, tradeoffs, and maintainability.
• Perform thorough and meaningful code reviews and troubleshoot unfamiliar code.
• Implement and maintain DevOps cloud patterns.
• Participate in support tasks, including off-hours and weekend on-call rotations.

Requirements

• Must be based in the US (indicated by 401k and US health insurance benefits).
• 5+ years of experience developing backend services and APIs in distributed, service-oriented architectures.
• 5+ years of experience building large-scale frontend applications using modern frameworks (React highly desired).
• Proficiency in at least 3 software languages (Python highly desired).
• 5+ years of experience with data modeling using multiple databases and storage types.
• 3+ years of experience designing and deploying services in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI).

Nice to have

• Prior experience in healthcare, health tech, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with data privacy and compliance requirements.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
