Salary: Base $190,081 – $211,201 (Total compensation package of $307,321)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain robust applications and systems using React, Typescript, Django, and Postgres.
• Digitize complex paper-based workflows for oncology clinics to improve care transfer via portable electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with product design and management to deliver high-quality experiences for patients and providers.
• Mentor colleagues and foster a knowledge-sharing culture through collaborative learning and code reviews.
• Ensure high quality and security by writing comprehensive unit tests and adhering to compliance regulations.
• Take full ownership of end-to-end project delivery with autonomy in decision-making.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering complex projects.
• Deep expertise in Typescript, React, and CSS-in-JS libraries.
• Experience with frontend architecture including component systems, npm workspaces, Storybook, and Playwright.
• Proficiency with web frameworks such as Django.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Menlo Park, CA (2-3 days/week).
• Familiarity with modern AI-driven development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot).

Nice to have

• Previous startup or entrepreneurial experience, specifically driving products from zero to one.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards like FHIR and HL7.
• Interest in engaging with and applying LLMs to the product.
