What you will do

• Architect and scale high-concurrency bidding and listing systems powering significant annual GMV.
• Develop AI-powered features to provide instant valuations and upfront liquidity for sellers.
• Build personalized discovery experiences using data and machine learning to match collectibles with buyers.
• Design and launch sophisticated management tools for high-frequency power sellers.
• Own end-to-end development from low-latency backend logic to responsive real-time UIs.
• Mentor the engineering team and set standards for code quality, reliability, and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building and scaling complex applications with Python, Postgres, and AWS.
• Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, and building high-performance real-time interfaces.
• Proven track record of building systems that remain reliable under high traffic and transaction volumes.
• Strong product instinct and ability to translate user needs into technical features.
