Location: Hybrid in Kraków, Poland (on-site once per quarter at Wielicka 30)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain Roku TV applications using BrightScript/SceneGraph in the video streaming domain.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and developers to implement business requirements scalably.
• Lead proof-of-concept experiments, feasibility analysis, and technical evaluations for video commerce features.
• Define requirements, prepare specifications, estimate efforts, and conduct code reviews in agile lifecycle.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines with automated builds, tests, and quality gates using Azure DevOps and Git.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance, and document system changes and integrations.

Requirements

• Fluent written and spoken English for clear communication with cross-functional teams.
• 3+ years professional experience with BrightScript/SceneGraph and Roku TV development in Agile.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge, preferably with React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful APIs/GraphQL, CI/CD (Azure DevOps, Git), Jira/Confluence.
• Solid SDLC understanding, modern architectures (microservices, cloud-native).

Nice to have

• Python, .NET, or Java knowledge.
• Video/streaming/OTT expertise: navigation libraries, device limits, video players, codecs, captions.
