What you will do

• Develop and lead integrated federal and state policy strategy advancing U.S. business, patient access, and innovation.
• Identify emerging legislative and regulatory developments, advise on risks and opportunities.
• Lead policy positions, advocacy materials, and responses to rulemaking activities.
• Oversee public affairs governance, cross-functional alignment, and compliance.
• Build relationships with policymakers, agencies, associations, and represent in forums.
• Manage reputation, collaborate on corporate affairs, and oversee budgeting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 7-10+ years in government affairs, public policy, preferably in pharma/biotech/healthcare.
• Proven federal/state policy strategy development and execution.
• Experience engaging U.S. policymakers, agencies, associations, building relationships.
• Track record shaping policy on drug pricing, innovation, manufacturing, regulations.
• High-level business acumen, matrix environment experience.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Cary, NC.
