What you will do

• Design, implement, and own macOS Agent integrations for collecting system, network, and security telemetry.
• Leverage native macOS APIs and frameworks to build comprehensive observability features deeply integrated with the platform.
• Lead new feature development from ideation through deployment across enterprise fleets.
• Solve challenges in system programming, distributed telemetry, endpoint security, and performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize software for resource efficiency to maintain battery life and user productivity.
• Influence product decisions, plan projects, and mentor engineers on macOS initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years building systems-level applications with strong macOS internals knowledge
• Proven track record shipping macOS software at scale
• Hands-on with native macOS APIs, system services (LaunchDaemons/Agents), IPC, TCC privacy model
• Proficient in C/C++, Objective-C, and/or Swift; experience with macOS build toolchains
• Ability to own features in fast-paced environment
• Experience using AI coding tools in workflows

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang (hirify.global Agent primary language)
• Cross-platform development, including Windows SDK
• Work on agent-based observability or monitoring software
• Interest in advancing AI in software engineering
