Unigox - next-generation non-custodial P2P crypto platform that seamlessly connects fiat and crypto. Founded by Paxful’s ex-co-founder. We use ZK-TLS technology to automatically verify bank transfers in real time - privately and instantly, without screenshots or manual checks.

We are looking for a Backend Engineer focused on Payment Integrations. Your main role will be integrating various payment methods into our product and ensuring the seamless connection between banking systems and our infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing:

• Integrating Payment Methods: Designing and implementing integrations of various fiat payment methods directly into the Unigox product.
• Core Backend Development: Building high-performance services in Go to support real-time payment processing.
• API & Webhooks: Developing and maintaining robust API connections, handling webhooks, and ensuring data integrity across integrations.
• Architecture: Ensuring the reliability and idempotency of payment flows to prevent errors in financial transactions.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Backend development with Golang.
• Strong experience in Payments: Proven track record of integrating payment methods, gateways, or banking APIs.
• Database Knowledge: Proficient with PostgreSQL (transactional integrity is key for payments) and Redis.
• Technical Mindset: Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and the lifecycle of a financial transaction.
• Software Design: Understanding of microservices architecture, clean code principles, and writing maintainable tests.
• English: Strong written and spoken skills for technical collaboration.

You’ll stand out if you have:

• Blockchain Background: Experience with Solidity and understanding of how smart contracts work.
• Experience in building P2P platforms or crypto on-ramp/off-ramp solutions.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD processes.
