Nanofabrication Internship (Quantum Computing)

hirify.global is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer using Schrödinger cat qubits to solve the world's hardest problems.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize optical lithography processes to pattern indium bump structures.
• Participate in metal deposition and lift-off processes for bump fabrication.
• Measure and characterize bump geometry, including height, diameter, and uniformity.
• Perform flip-chip bonding tests and evaluate chip planarity and alignment.
• Document process parameters, experimental results, and fabrication workflows.
• Contribute to improving process reliability and reproducibility within the cleanroom.

Requirements

• Currently a Master 2 student in Microelectronics, Nanotechnology, Applied Physics, Materials Science, or Microfabrication.
• Strong understanding of microfabrication processes.
• Ability to follow experimental procedures and document results accurately.
• Interest in hands-on laboratory or cleanroom work.
• English: Fluent (C1) written and verbal communication skills required.
• Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Paris & Aubervilliers.

• Basic cleanroom experience in lithography, deposition, or etching.
