What you will do

• Manage production lines including OEE, Yield, and LOB to increase efficiency of production facilities.
• Analyze and evaluate battery cell electrical performance data from lab experiments and pre-production to determine effects of formation equipment and processes.
• Review specifications, install, improve, and ramp-up formation process equipment at gigafactory scale.
• Meet key targets for schedule and OEE in formation process performance.
• Collaborate closely with customers and machine suppliers.
• Establish processes through DOE, PFMEA, control plans, and verification.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, materials science, chemistry, physics, or related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in lithium-ion battery module field.
• Exposure to high-volume manufacturing of cells and modules for automotive customers.
• Extensive experience in team management for engineering groups.
• Knowledge and operating experience of CAD software and data analysis software.
