Project Manager (Defense and Security)

Location: Lund, Sweden; frequent travel to naval sites in Karlskrona, Landskrona, and Helsingborg

What you will do

• Drive a portfolio of strategic agile projects within the Business Unit Submarines.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, stakeholders, customers, and partners to deliver project outcomes.
• Guide portfolio planning, resource management, and project execution.
• Monitor contractual commitments, scope, quality, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage risks, address deviations, and identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Promote transparency through communication, workshops, and portfolio insights.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management, strategic awareness, analytical ability, and governance expertise.
• Strong customer interaction, negotiation, business acumen, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Swedish and English.
• Ability to pass security vetting; additional citizenship obligations may apply for roles requiring security clearance.

Nice to have

• IPMA Level certification or equivalent.
• Experience with SAFe and Lean portfolio management.
• Knowledge of defense and security industry standards and regulations.
