What you will do
- Lead the design and deployment of 4D world models and generative systems for ultra-realistic sensor and semantics generation in simulation.
- Architect and implement scalable ML pipelines for training, evaluating, and deploying large-scale generative models.
- Build production-ready video generation techniques using Diffusion and Flow Matching for interactive simulation environments.
- Apply Vision Language Models (VLMs) to improve semantic understanding and controllability of world simulation products.
- Collaborate with research teams across and Alphabet to integrate SOTA research into production solutions.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to other engineers on the team.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in ML engineering and applied Deep Learning with a portfolio of shipped products.
- Proven experience training large-scale generative models for video generation (Diffusion, Flow Matching) or VLMs.
- Deep expertise in 3D World Modeling or 3D computer vision.
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks such as Jax/Flax, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Must be based in or able to work from Mountain View, California.
Nice to have
- PhD with a strong track record in 3D generative models, world models, or video generation.
- Experience simulating sensor data (Camera, Lidar, Radar) and semantic scenes.
- Experience with autonomous systems, robotics, or autonomous vehicle simulation.
- Experience optimizing large-scale models on GPU/TPU clusters.
- C++ proficiency for production systems.
