Salary: $180,000 – $220,000

hirify.global is rebuilding the mortgage industry by creating an AI-augmented, fully automated origination platform to replace antiquated manual processes.

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate scalable backend systems to support customer-facing features.
• Collaborate with full-stack engineers to ensure product reliability and scalability.
• Take end-to-end ownership of backend features from initial design through production.
• Optimize system performance, including query optimization, indexing, and resolving bottlenecks.
• Implement and manage multi-service architectures in a production-grade environment.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in backend engineering and building production-grade distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one strongly typed language such as C#, Java, Kotlin, or Go.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and infrastructure components like Kafka or Redis.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (E-Verify participant).
• Willingness to travel a few times per year for team offsites within the United States.
