What you will do

• Lead the migration and re-architecture of legacy Golang services into a modern Python-based ecosystem.
• Actively contribute to development by writing high-quality, scalable, and performant code.
• Define and own the cloud architecture roadmap on Azure to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Ensure systems meet healthcare data standards and compliance requirements, specifically HIPAA and GDPR.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor the team through code reviews and architecture standards.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional experience with Python, building backend systems and data pipelines.
• 5+ years of experience designing and deploying scalable cloud architectures on Azure.
• Proven experience leading at least one major system migration or full re-architecture.
• 3+ years of experience working with Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) or high-volume data platforms.
• Solid understanding of React for frontend integration.
• English: Advanced proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Golang to support the understanding of legacy systems.
• Knowledge of healthcare data, DICOM standards, or Real-World Data (RWD).
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience working in regulated environments with HIPAA or GDPR frameworks.
