Fullstack Engineer (Music Publishing)

Location: Armenia, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, or Ukraine

The client is a global music entertainment company developing technology for publishing administration.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain fullstack applications using Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Build frontend interfaces, internal dashboards, backend APIs, and microservices for publishing administration workflows.
• Create tools for royalty processing, rights tracking, metadata management, licensing workflows, and operational support.
• Integrate external systems, digital service providers, licensing platforms, and internal Sony systems.
• Design and optimize ETL and data processing pipelines for large music catalog datasets.
• Collaborate with product managers, publishing operations teams, analysts, and architects while improving scalability, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Python and JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Experience with React or similar modern frontend frameworks.
• Experience building backend APIs and microservices with strong SQL knowledge.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, REST APIs, and third-party integrations.
• Understanding of scalable web application architecture and ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with music publishing, royalties, licensing, or rights management systems.
• Experience with Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, or data engineering workflows.
• Experience with GraphQL, event-driven architectures, operational analytics, or large-scale metadata systems.
