What you will do

• Lead the analysis, conceptual design, development, and testing of complex control hardware for military, commercial, and NASA vehicles.
• Establish and monitor engineering project budgets and schedules using MS Project or comparable software.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and internal management.
• Develop new product requirements by consulting with customers and sales personnel.
• Prepare proposal designs and cost estimates, including authoring the technical volume.
• Coordinate the work of drafters, technicians, and analysts while mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience leading technical development projects.
• Proven experience in the design and production of complex electromechanical hardware.
• Experience with phased program life cycles (e.g., NASA Space Flight Project Life Cycle).
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information.

Nice to have

• Proficiency with Teamcenter or other Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
