What you will do

• Drive data science and decision intelligence for money movement platforms including payments, banking, and lending.
• Design and build AI-powered predictive models to improve transaction success, authorization rates, and fraud loss prevention.
• Perform root-cause analysis for high-stakes issues such as payment declines, anomaly detection, and reconciliation gaps.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Risk leaders to inform platform architecture and investment prioritization.
• Establish and uphold best practices for model governance and experimentation rigor.
• Scale analytical capabilities by contributing to self-service tools and golden datasets using Databricks, Amplitude, and Tableau.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in data science or applied ML with a track record of owning large-scale analytical systems.
• Strong expertise in fintech, payments, or banking domains, including understanding of payment rails and settlement.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python for production-grade analytics engineering.
• Experience with anomaly detection, forecasting, and causal analysis in production environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, or Statistics.
