Salary: $140,000 - $215,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead major initiatives in designing proprietary Cloud Protocols.
• Develop ultra-high volume backend services using Golang and Kafka.
• Collaborate with Falcon Sensor teams across Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android.
• Optimize network communications, TLS negotiation, and datastream management.
• Scale distributed systems to process trillions of events daily.

Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in a full-time backend software development role.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Sunnyvale, CA.
• Proven experience building high-volume services for cloud-delivered SaaS products.
• Strong expertise in distributed systems, scalability (sharding, partitioning), and multi-threading.
• Proficiency in at least one cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Existing exposure to Go, Scala, AWS, Cassandra, Kafka, or Elasticsearch.
• Industry experience implementing web servers and load balancers.
• Contributions to open-source projects (GitHub, Stack Overflow).
• Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
