Salary: $104,541–$153,327 per year

What you will do

• Design real-time embedded system software for control systems in complex machinery.
• Develop requirements, code, and documentation for firmware components and applications.
• Implement firmware for digital, analog, RF, power, and motion control systems.
• Participate in design and code reviews, as well as hardware/software integration and testing.
• Resolve product issues through problem evaluation, code modifications, and coordination with support teams.
• Create product enhancements with an emphasis on system-wide benefit and iterative design.

Requirements

• Must have unrestricted work authorization for the US.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience with C++ and/or C in an embedded development environment.
• Experience with embedded Linux, VxWorks, or other RTOS.
• Experience with Yocto Project/OpenEmbedded for Linux system development.
• Proficiency with revision control systems like Git or Subversion.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Experience in Linux kernel development.
• Knowledge of motor control, smartcard technology, RFID, or laser control.
• Expertise in security concepts including encryption, PKI, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Proficiency using AI tools for code generation, analysis, and documentation.
