What you will do

  • Investigate, negotiate, and settle primary and excess professional liability claims for lawyers and financial advisors.
  • Analyze insurance policies to make coverage determinations and communicate positions to policyholders and stakeholders.
  • Manage nationwide litigation, including appointing and directing defense counsel for expeditious resolution.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and management to alert them of significant developments in product lines.
  • Maintain adherence to internal reporting requirements and company guidelines.

Requirements

  • College degree, professional designation, or related job experience.
  • Experience in determining contractual obligations and performing insurance coverage analyses.
  • Ability to manage litigation, set loss and expense reserves, and evaluate settlement values.
  • US Work Authorization required; hirify.global does not provide visa sponsorship.
  • Ability to travel approximately 5%.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for summing up complex issues.
