What you will do

• Architect, design, build, and test improvements to mission-critical systems powering customer digital purchases like subscriptions.
• Define automation strategies, cases, and tools for unit, functional, and performance testing in a programmatic manner.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and automated tools to enhance development speed, quality, and efficiency.
• Lead GenAI-powered development and testing culture, evangelizing best practices across multiple teams.
• Collaborate with Software Development Engineers, Principal Engineers, Product Managers, and TPMs on complex, high-impact projects.
• Build capabilities for automatic validation of multiple digital experiences at scale.

Requirements

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team
• Strong background in algorithms, data structures, Java, and databases (SQL and NoSQL)
• Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team across geographies

Nice to have

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• Experience working with high-traffic, scalable services
