What you will do

• Perform basic drill press, lathe, milling machine, and grinding operations.
• Manage the care and application of turning, plunge, and form tools.
• Operate shear vise, tapping machines, and utilize various styles of taps and dies.
• Use power hand tools, grinders, drills, belt sanders, and bead blasters.
• Operate power band saws, including speed selection, blade welding, and replacement.
• Complete required technical paperwork.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal, written, and computer work instructions in English.
• Completion of at least one year of an approved vocational program in Machine Technology or equivalent.
• Proficiency in general mathematics (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Knowledge of machine shop gauges and machines.
