What you will do

• Work from complex drawings with or without process instructions to inspect machined parts.
• Perform first article inspections on machined, molded, and capsule hardware and tooling.
• Write and certify programs for Coordinate Measuring Machines and Optical Vision Systems.
• Maintain responsibility for all gauging setups.
• Complete required inspection documentation.
• Assist in training and cross-training of others and participate in Continuous Improvement Process.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least one-year completion of an approved vocational program in Machine Technology or equivalent.
• Demonstrates a high mechanical aptitude and the ability to relate to Machine Shop technology.
• Proficient in general math and able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to use CMM Machines and shop gauges.
• Knowledge in blueprint reading and Geometric Tolerances.
