What you will do

• Define and implement the technical roadmap to ensure platform stability and scalability for the long term.
• Lead modernization efforts, migrating legacy monoliths to microservices using cloud-native patterns.
• Design reusable frameworks and infrastructure to accelerate feature development across multiple engineering teams.
• Lead the design and adoption of AI-enabled capabilities and establish scalable, auditable AI frameworks.
• Mentor engineers at all levels, including Lead and other Staff Engineers, to grow technical and leadership skills.
• Collaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.

Requirements

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience in lead and architectural roles.
• Deep expertise in Java and the Spring Framework for building large-scale, high-performance systems.
• Extensive experience designing and operating cloud architectures and infrastructure using AWS services.
• Proven track record in performance optimization, profiling, and handling "big data" challenges.
• Must be authorized to work in the US; sponsorship of new applicants is not available.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
