TL;DR

Sr. Manager, Global Indirect Sourcing: Oversee team managing strategic sourcing across MRO, Capital Equipment, and Facility spend categories with an accent on reducing total cost of ownership. Focus on developing and executing sourcing strategies, leading negotiations, and driving cost optimization and transformation initiatives.

Location: Hybrid in Deerfield, IL (in-office collaboration expected Tuesday-Thursday)

Salary: $135,000 USD - $175,000 USD

What you will do

  • Develop and execute sourcing and demand management strategies to reduce total cost of ownership for Capital Equipment, MRO, and Facility categories.
  • Lead a team of category leaders focused on MRO and Facilities, providing training and coaching.
  • Partner with stakeholders and senior leadership to align on business objectives and supply priorities.
  • Manage category strategies, project pipelines, and deliver savings through RFI, RFQ, RFP processes and supplier negotiations.
  • Implement procurement best practices, drive compliance, and mitigate risks across the organization.
  • Build industry expertise and lead cross-functional initiatives for process improvements and supplier consolidation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 8+ years in Indirect Procurement with expertise in MRO, Capital Equipment, Facilities/Utilities
  • Strong leadership, relationship-building, and influence skills for cross-functional teams
  • Proven strategic sourcing, project management, analytical, negotiation, and contract management experience
  • Ability to prioritize, manage deadlines in fast-paced environment, with customer-focused communication
  • Up to 20% travel
