Senior Hardware Program Manager (Connected Products): Overseeing program management activities for digital/IoT portfolio in Security and Water businesses with an accent on new product introduction (NPI) for hardware consumer goods. Focus on leading cross-functional teams through product development from inception to production launch, driving speed to market, budget adherence, and continuous improvement.

Location: Hybrid in Deerfield, IL or San Francisco, CA offices (remote Mondays and Fridays)

Salary: $90,000 USD - $143,000 USD

What you will do

  • Lead cross-functional teams through platform projects from inception to completion using hirify.global Product Development Process.
  • Drive product development and supply chain activities, focusing on speed to market, schedule, budget, and product cost.
  • Represent Global Product Development with business units, operations, and suppliers to ensure on-time launches.
  • Monitor risks in timing, quality, technical, and financial areas, developing mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct executive gate reviews, post-launch reviews, and manage critical path resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Sciences, or Supply Chain preferred
  • 5+ years leading projects/programs in new product development
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel; SAP/Oracle preferred
  • Experience managing multiple projects, cross-functional teams, capital/expense budgeting
  • Knowledge of engineering principles (FMEA, DOE, QFD, DFA, DFMA) and manufacturing processes (injection molding, casting, etc.)
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% domestically
  • Experience in Agile team structures
