Senior Information Security Analyst

TL;DR

Senior Information Security Analyst (Cybersecurity): Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and incidents, while driving continuous improvement in security operations. Focus on threat intelligence analysis, vulnerability management, patch coordination, and optimizing SIEM and endpoint protection tools.

Location: Hybrid working with a minimum of 50% of working time per month in the office (UK). Initial full-time office for new starters.

What you will do

• Monitor, triage, and respond to security alerts and events, prioritizing by risk and impact
• Act as first responder for incidents, including on-call support
• Analyze security data to identify trends, risks, and threats
• Oversee security technologies like SIEM, email/web gateways, and endpoint protection
• Coordinate patch management and vulnerability scanning
• Monitor threat intelligence and report on security metrics and KPIs

Requirements

• Good understanding of information security principles, risk management, and threat landscape
• Experience operating SIEM, endpoint protection, email/web security solutions
• Proven experience in information security role, preferably financial services or e-commerce
• Experience with frameworks like ISO27001, NIST
• Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Windows, Linux, network security
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills

Nice to have

• Threat hunting and detection analytics development
• Awareness of cloud security controls
• CISSP or equivalent certification
